On the 19th of June 2015 the FDRL has been awarded by the Organising Committee of RusPrix Award for its for its contribution in development of bilateral cooperation between Russia and the Netherlands in the sphere of agriculture. In the role of the Coordination Centre for FDRL, European Staff has considered this nomination as a personal achievement in the area of promotion and development of the Foundation, being the spin in the web of FDRL since June 2015.
The RusPrix Award is conducted under the patronage of Embassy of Russian Federation to The Netherlands. The Organizing Committee is represented by the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands, the Netherlands-Russian Centre for Trade Promotion (NRCH) and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The main aim of the RusPrix Award is the encouragement of Dutch companies, public organizations and individuals of politics and culture, whom achieved exceeding results in the development of business- and cultural relations with the Russian Federation. Establishment of the RusPrix Award in 2005 has shown major improvement in the investment climate of Russia and helped to attract attention of the Dutch government and business-elite for the positive development of economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries. It has also demonstrated mutual interest in such cooperation.
The event took place at the Palace Hotel in Noordwijk aan Zee. All laureates have been congratulated by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Netherlands. On behalf of FDRL the Chairman Jack Koopman, accompanied with the Board members Jan Lok, Jan-Willem de Vries and Inga Grinberga has received the Award from the Ambassador. In his speech Jack has mentioned that it was a great honour that the work of the Foundation of Dutch-Russian Livestock has not been unnoticed and that our efforts were rewarded with this wonderful price.
The Award was received by the board members of FDRL. On behalf of European Staff BV and respectively Coordination Centre of FDRL our colleagues Guzalia Romanova (Coordinator Russia) and Elena Bragar (Coordinator Europe) were present at the ceremony.
