Responsibilities:

  • General Accountabilities:
  • The position is responsible for identifying, understanding, analyzing, and reporting on the information resulting from the sales and product development activities of the internal teams. These responsibilities include: responding to ad hoc reporting requests; developing and automating periodic reports; validating results to ensure correctness; analyzing data to identify patterns, errors, and inconsistencies; and helping resolve data issues.
  • Duties and Responsibilities: Create ad hoc reports torespond to internal customer requests; Create and automate recurringreports; Maintain, execute, and modifyexisting reports; Interact with variousinternal customers to identify and understand their business needs; Provide expertise andguidance regarding appropriate interpretations of data; Identify and help resolvedata issues; Validate all work to ensurecorrectness; Support a variety of otherinformation management projects of a highly varied nature including: dataanalysis, data mining and data optimization.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelors degree inMathematics, Business, Computer Science, Statistics or related degreerequiring analytical thinking; Understanding of reportdevelopment, database development, data mining and analysis; Advanced experience usingspreadsheets and database tools (Excel, MS SQL Server, Oracle); Programming experienceincluding T-SQL, PL-SQL, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA); Highly detail oriented -absolute commitment to accuracy; Achievement oriented -focused on getting work done quickly and efficiently; Prefer experience with SQLServer Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS),and/or Business Intelligence (BI) tools; Strong technical/analyticalcapability with excellent problem solving and decision making skills; Strong written and verbalcommunication skills along with presentation skills; Ability to handle multipletasks of highly varied nature in a timely manner; and Strong business acumen andexisting knowledge of financial services industry.
