  • Oversee and provide backup assistance for payroll processing for all hourly and salary employees to include time and attendance scheduling.
  • Maintain and update attendance, recruitment, training and other employee related information on web based HRIS.
  • Directly manages various employee benefit programs including enrollment and updating of health insurance, short term and long term disability and life insurance benefit programs data base files
  • Manages Workers' Compensation program including FROI and claims management.
  • Assists Corporate and Plant Safety Managers with OSHA training and accident investigations.
  • Maintains required local, state, federal and departmental records, postings and reports including I-9, E-Verify, EEO, FMLA and OSHA record keeping requirements.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Maintains company organization charts and
  • employee directory.
  • Develops, recommends, implements and enforces personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintain a workplace free of union representation.
  • Prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel,students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations;\
  • Establishes and administers career path and training programs with local and regional educational technical schools resources.
  • Employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing;
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources management or related field and a minimum of 5 years human resources leadership
  • experience in all disciplines related to the human resources field
  • required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired and experience with continuous improvement and culture change would be
  • beneficial.

  • Detail-oriented, possessing excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills Has a strong desire to succeed in the face of adversity and
  • demonstrates the willingness to push through challenges associated with changes and new business development
  • Computer literate with proficiency utilizing software products such as: MS Word, Excel, email applications etc.
  • Experience with FMLA, EEO, E-Verify and Worker's Compensation administration and procedures

Job conditions:

  • Human Resources manager must have a 4 year bachelors degree. MUST HAVE UNION EXPERIENCE
