— Responsible for process improvements in the form of scrap/waste reduction
— Responsible of the integrity of product quality
— Will provide problem solving techniques through leadership and will lead scrap/waste reduction initiatives
— Responsible for assigned product lines in manufacturing
— Coordinate with Engineering group in process and design. Involvement in documents such as SOPs Control Plans, FMEAs.
— Participation in team approached projects.
— Documentation of all quality relevant records under his/her responsibility
— Recording, monitoring and evaluating SPC with the engineering group
— Conduct Quality audits according to Company standards and TS 16949 Standards
— Provide leadership to Quality Technicians
— Develop gages and/or work with Engineering in the development of gages and work with the calibration lab in gage requirements.
Requirements:
— Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
— Minimum 2 years exp as a Manufacturing or Quality Engineer
— Black Belt Certification a plus
— Shainin Certification a plus
— Experience with inspection equipment and techniques in a high precision environment
— Knowledge of TS 16949 Standard
— Supplier development experience
— Experience with SPC/MSA, PPAP, Procedure writing, FMEA, Process Control Plans, 8D
