— Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
— Work experience in a manufacturing environment.
— Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
— Approximately 80% of time is spent on the production floor, 10% working at desk on a computer, and 10% in meetings.
— This Engineer reports to the Plant Engineering Manager and will be responsible for leading projects in his/her area of expertise working in a manufacturing environment.The projects will be performed by in-house maintenance personnel and outside contractors. Will provide input into the design for new or modified systems, processes or technologies.Serve as technical lead, planning and organizing portions of project.Budget, manpower and equipment utilization.Troubleshoot problems on existing systems, processes and technologies.Utilize available resources (other engineers, multi-skilled maintenance and operations teammates).Participate in monitoring and evaluating the performance of existing systems, processes and technologies and recommends modifications and enhancements to improve quality and/or efficiency.
