— Support and drive the lean manufacturing system; assign work; and recommend and implement improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, employee relations, and working conditions.
— Oversee all departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws. Resolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations, and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.
— Responsible for area performance measures and individual employee work performance; provide coaching and direction to employees; and work with the manufacturing manager to identify development and/or training needs for employees.
— Responsible for communication at all levels.
— Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; experience in the automotive industry preferred.
— Prefer Assembly experience NOT required. Strong technical skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing processes/procedures preferred.
— Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
— Professional verbal and written communication skills essential.
— Familiarity with proven safety programs or quality programs (i.e. Kaizen) a plus.

— The Production Coordinator is responsible for effectively supervising employees in a designated area of manufacturing to ensure a safe work environment, meet production deadlines, and attain established goals in the areas of production quality, delivery, and cost.
— This is a 3rd shift position.
— Will supervise 2 teams with a total of 50 hourly members over the entire Assembly area.
