— . Develop, document, test, and debug software that contain logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems.

— . Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
— . Diagnose problems encountered during application integration among products and address fixes/enhancements according to prescribed program processes.
— . Design and develop complex software using a variety of programming and scripting languages.
— . Develop software on diverse platforms including Unix, Linux and Windows based operating systems.
— . Utilize configuration management tools, database applications and related software development tools.
— . Solve complex technical issues with limited supervision.
— . Able to be self-motivated and a creative problem solvers.

— Basic Qualifications
— . Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering from an accredited institution with 8 to 12 years of experience.
— . Designing and developing complex software using a variety of programming and scripting languages - C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
— . 5 or more years of recent experience working with web application servers, APIs and other applications solving problems that require complex, multi-threaded, high-performance solutions.
— . 3 or more years of recent experience working with HTML5 and REST design patterns.
— . Experience with both Linux and Windows environments and tools.
— . Experience using the Agile methodology
— . Must be able to work on site at our Headquarters building in Herndon VA.

— . Experience with Scala, or similar functional languages or desire to learn.
— . Experience with distributed data design including Cassandra and ElasticSearch or desire to learn.
— . Experience with AngularJS
