— The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the Vehicle level testing and development of climate system and in particular the refrigerant system. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for the Integration of AC components including TXV, Compressor, Evaporator and Condenser along with air-handling system (system resistance curves vs. airflow). In this role you will create and validate 1-D simulation models of vehicle cabin, A/C sub-system, and heater subsystem to wind tunnel tests. You will also use simulation tools to identify bottlenecks and identify opportunities to optimize AC system performance design, development, and testing of software and systems within the department.
— . Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related technical discipline
— . 3-5 years of experience in thermal system design and development, with some level of vehicle and/or refrigerant sub-system test and development
— . Strong in Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer
